This narrated tour guides you past a spectacular 110’ waterfall and over a hydro power station. It also takes you to Maplewood Park, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, which features a nationally accredited rose garden and also includes Kelsey's Landing, a National Underground Railroad Network site.
You can park your car or bike at Maplewood park, the first top on the tour. The tour first takes you to the Rose Garden, and then down along the west bank of the Genesee River, where you can see the Lower Falls from several vantage points. This walking trail takes you below the Driving Park bridge and then to the top of the falls. You’ll continue south to the Middle Falls bridge and the hydro station, and then return north towards Maplewood Park, following a path up to Driving Park bridge. This will give you another perspective of the falls, before our final stop at the historic YMCA building.
